Setting up an Independent Testing Environment for SBX

This guide covers how to quickly create an environment to test out SBX without affecting your existing mailboxes.

Create a new group in Exchange admin center as in Microsoft’s tutorial. Creating a new group rather than using an existing one to ensure that all your tests are easily reversible, and you can simply delete the group when you are done testing.

Change the settings of this new group to match SBX’s requirements as described in this guide. There is no need to change the settings of any group other than your test group.

Next, activate SBX’s trial. SBX will guide you through the initial setup. SBX has a free trial period of one month for your organization. No credit card is required.

Once you are done testing, you can simply remove the group as described here. SBX’s trial will end at the end of the month without any obligations.
